Maisy’s Winter Favourites…
As the nights draw in and the air turns crisp, there’s something magical about winter with Maisy. The world feels slower, cosier — and somehow more special. I’ve always loved this time of year: wrapping up warm, long walks in the cold air, and those extra snuggles at home when the frost starts to glisten outside.
Maisy’s at that lovely age where every season feels like an adventure. And winter? It’s her moment to shine. She’s full of energy, constantly on the move, and always finding joy in the simplest things — whether that’s chasing after the autonimal leaves on a dog walk or watching her climb up slides or obstacles in the park!
This week, I thought I’d share a few of Maisy’s winter favourites — the things that keep her warm, dry, and ready for fun no matter what the weather throws our way.

Maisy loves being warm at night, but she’s never been a fan of duvets. She kicks them off within minutes, wriggles around, and somehow ends up upside down by morning!

It’s warm, colourful, and just as fun as she is. The fit means she can move, climb, and play without feeling restricted, and I love that she stays dry and cosy even when the Yorkshire weather does its usual thing (rain, drizzle, and everything in between!).
And honestly, the little umbrella pattern feels like it was made for her — bright, playful, and ready for adventure.

Maisy absolutely loves being outdoors — even when it’s damp and muddy. These waterproof dungarees are a lifesaver. They slip over her clothes so easily and keep her completely dry, whether she’s bum-shuffling on the grass, crawling on the playground floor, or sitting in her walker exploring the world around her.
These waterproof dungarees are one of our best buys and one of Maisy’s winter favourites. They’re lightweight but tough, super easy to pull on, and fold up into a tiny bag when not in use (perfect for the nursery bag or the car boot). Most importantly, they let Maisy dive right into messy play — and still come home dry and smiling.
It’s such a joy watching her splash about freely, knowing she’s protected from the elements. These dungarees have saved many an outfit and made many a playtime more carefree.
💛 Simple Joys and Snuggly Days
Winter with Maisy isn’t about doing more — it’s about feeling more. It’s about the extra cuddles after bath time, the rosy cheeks from a chilly walk, and those quiet moments under the faint lamp light when she’s drifting to sleep in her warm sleeping bag.
Every season brings its own challenges (See our halloween blog for more) and triumphs, but this one reminds me how magical the simplest things can be. A warm coat, dry clothes, and a determined little girl with a big smile — that’s all we need.
